The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to assist in the apprehension of a man who has been exposing himself to women in the Diamondhead community.
In the past two weeks, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has received two reports of indecent exposure which investigators believe are related to the same suspect.
The first report was received on Feb. 27.
According to the complainant, a black male driving a four-door silver Altima followed her to a residence in Diamondhead and then pulled into the driveway and exposed himself. The suspect then drove off towards Diamondhead Drive East.
On Saturday, March 4, deputies responded to another complaint of indecent exposure from a different complainant.
The female complainant said that she was sitting in her dinning room reading the newspaper when she observed a black male in a front window of her residence.
The man was apparently holding a cell phone in one hand and his genitals in the other.
The woman went to get her husband, but when she returned, the suspect was gone.
The woman reported the suspect as being in his 40s, about six feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a dark jacket, and a dark stocking hat.
Sheriff Ricky Adam said Tuesday that investigators have looked into several leads, but no arrest has been made yet.
Adam said anyone who may have information related to this case can call central dispatch at 228-255-9191 or the criminal investigation unit at 228-466-6910.
