Sheriff: Man exposed himself to HCHS girls

A man accused of exposing himself to women as they left Harrison Central High School was arrested after investigators identified him through a photo lineup, said Sheriff Melvin Brisolara.

Sheriff’s investigators found him after a woman at a Sonic Drive-In called Gulfport police. The woman described a similar incident by a man matching the description of Chad Jimmy Lee Parker, Brisolara said.

Parker, 23, of Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, was arrested Monday afternoon.

“I don’t know how much attention he was seeking,” Brisolara said, “but he certainly got our attention.”

The sheriff said he had received several complaints in recent weeks about a man exposing himself on School Road off U.S. 49. School Road leads to the high school.

The latest incident was Feb. 22, when several women and girls, mostly students, reported a man in a silver Ford Explorer was watching them as they left school. One of them said he exposed himself to her.

The girl described the man and school surveillance cameras took pictures of his vehicle, the sheriff said.

Gulfport police said their investigation continues.

Parker is charged with indecent exposure and trespassing.

The maximum penalty for indecent exposure is six months in jail and a $500 fine.

Parker posted a $1,500 bond at the county jail.
